
Dody Stottlemyer has lived in VA for 40 years, residing in the Shawnee district for the last 23 years. She and her husband Mike have been married for 16 years and are strong believers in our God given Constitutional rights.
Dody is the right person to elect for the Shawnee School Board seat. She knows the people of the Shawnee community well, living and working here locally for decades. She has been participating for many years in the local school and government meetings, and has been very involved in community engagement and service. This included a run for the Shawnee School Board seat in 2017, and most recently has been serving on local County and FCPS committees.
As the Shawnee School Board representative Dody would like see these items given more focus within the school system:
Dody brings to the table a private sector work history, where her common sense approach understands the need for a measurable rate of return, especially in the public school arena. We must give our kids the foundational skills they
need to compete successfully in the future. The time for better education is now!!
