
Dody Stottlemyer has lived in VA for 40 years, residing in the Shawnee district for the last 23 years. She and her husband Mike have been married for 16 years and are strong believers in our God given Constitutional rights.
Dody is the right person to elect for the Shawnee School Board seat. She knows the people of the Shawnee community well, living and working here locally for decades. She has been participating for many years in the local school and government meetings, and has been very involved in community engagement and service. This included a run for the Shawnee School Board seat in 2017, and most recently has been serving on local County and FCPS committees.
As the Shawnee School Board representative Dody would like see these items given more focus within the school system:
Dody brings a lifelong private sector work history to the table, where there are expectations for a return on investment. Her common sense approach is that even in the public sector there needs to be a measurable ROI. So lets work together as parents, teachers, staff, students, and vested-interest taxpayers to bring about an improved ROI in our Frederick County Public Schools.
